KHCB – Q & A – October 21, 2021

Questions

– (05:00) –  Human Being each have 3 parts – body, soul and spirit.  Mark 2:8 states “immediately Jesus knew in His spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts and He said to them “Why are you thinking these things?””  My question is :  Did Jesus have a separate spirit and/or different from the Holy Spirit?

– (08:30) – My question is based on Galatians 5:4 – The last few words of that scripture says “you are fallen from Grace”.  So the Galatians believers have fallen from Grace according to those words.  And then in verse 19 of the same chapter, it lists a litany of sinful things that we can do that I assume cause us to fall from Grace. My question is – which one of those sinful things that are mentioned in verse 19, 20 and 21, which one of those evil things caused the Galatians to fall from Grace? Was it a sexual sin like in Corinthians?

– (13:07) – Paul outlines in 2 Thessalonians 2, something being removed before the abomination of desolation can be revealed.  Is that thing being removed the Church or is Daniel 12:1 identifying another event that’s going to happen before the abomination of desolation is revealed?

– (16:27) – I’ve heard two different perspectives on this – are we spiritual beings having a natural experience or natural beings having a supernatural experience?

– (19:24) – In Mark 15:25, crucifixion takes place at the 3rd hour and Jesus’ death at the 9th hour.  Then it goes on to say in John 19:14 Jesus is still before Pilate at the 6th hour.  Would you explain that please?

– (21:50) – Please show me where the Bible says that it is permissible for divorced people to remarry. I thought that Jesus said that anyone who marries a divorced person commits adultery.  Please clarify.

– (26:20) – After the Rapture, will believers in Heaven see the Tribulation era unfold on Earth?

– (27:59) – I have heard it said that during the Tribulation people will get saved.  But the Holy Spirit, the Restrainer, is no longer here. Does that mean they won’t have the Holy Spirit or they won’t receive the Holy Spirit here on Earth if He’s gone from the Earth already?

– (35:36) – My question is in two parts – the first part is in Revelation 1:14 concerning Jesus – it says His head and His hair was white like wool.  And the second part is in Matthew 15:24 where He said “I am not sent but unto to the lost sheep of the house of Israel”.  So my question would be – should not the Children of God have wooly hair like sheep?

– (38:37) – Pastor Jim, this question really relates very much to your prayer – many are working through a Covid mandate and working on exemptions – religious exemptions – so my question is what Bible verses would you recommend in addressing a religious exemption?

– (43:50) – In John when Jesus told His disciples “I’m going to go and I will send you  a Holy Spirit to be with you all” – but in the Old Testament, I was wondering what kind of Spirit did they have?  Is there a difference between the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament and the New Testament?

– (48:00) – I was wondering – how is a person, or who, is eligible to participate or partake in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper?

– (50:30) – To address what Dr. Woods was just basically addressing about vaccinations for Christians – in the 13th Chapter of Romans that we must obey authorities – how this situation for those Christians was taking a chance to be vaccinated – how he addressed the other side of this topic.  Dr. Jim clarifies – how do we apply Romans 13 to this issue?

– (54:10) – In the New Testament, the words “Thus sayeth the Lord” are never mentioned.  Instead, you have the book of James that starts with “James”.  There was this guy named James that’s going to say something.  Paul, in Philemon it says “Paul”, so why didn’t Paul say “I am Paul and thus sayeth the Lord”?  And then in Revelation, John does not say “Thus sayeth the Lord” – he says “John” and then he just lets the Spirit out and flows with the Spirit.  Why don’t they have to say “Thus sayeth the Lord” in the New Testament.  It’s never mentioned.  And in the Old Testament they can’t say nothing unless they say “Thus sayeth the Lord”?

– (56:40) – Why did God bring Isaac and Rebecca together?

– (58:03) – I have been enjoying Dr. Woods new book Babylon – if the Antichrist is going to have his headquarters in Babylon, will he travel to Jerusalem to commit the abomination of desolation?
