Questions
– (04:56) – The Lord’s Prayer – what does it mean when the Lord said “Hallowed be thy Name”? Does it mean Hallelujah?
– (14:03) – Acts 13:50 – “But the Jewish leaders incited the God-fearing women of high standing and the leading men of the city. They stirred up persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them from their region.” What was the reason for inciting the women, since the women were not to be heard in the Church?
– (19:05) – Regarding 2 Thess. – Where Paul is talking about the Day of the Lord – that it will not come until the falling away and the restrainer is taken out. Then further down, it says that the Day of the Lord will not come until the Man of Perdition (Sin) is revealed. Can you elaborate on that?
– (24:44) – In Matt 27:53 “They came out of the tombs after Jesus’ resurrection and went into the holy city and appeared to many people.” The caller says that this isn’t really preached upon if ever at all. Why is that?
– (30:00) – If a person trusts in Jesus as their Savior, but then later denies that he’s the Savior. Are there just these two possibilities for that person : 1) he was never born again or 2) he was born again, but is being a prodigal and his salvation is assured but he is harming his fellowship or relationship and possibly his future rewards?
– (35:53) – The caller was concerned about issues about God’s forbearance and children and ultimately concerned with the age of accountability. In the caller’s view, it would be better if Jesus came back so that the kids that were too young to have sinned much would be fine and wouldn’t have to deal with whether or not to repent later on. Can you elaborate on that?
– (40:00) – Please explain James 2:24 “You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.”
– (44:35) – My question is about the Greek word Gehenna. I would like to know if it is the Lake of Fire for unbelievers or is it a different place for disinherited believers?
– (48:22) – Relating to the Rapture – I’m in the Book of Revelation in Chapter 3, I wanted to ask about the church in Laodicea but also wanted to refer to verse 10 if that refers to the church today. My question about the church in Laodicea – does that church enter into the Great Tribulation?
– (54:00) – In Hebrews 2 in quotes part of Psalm 8 “what is man that you would be mindful of him?”. Is that verse talking about me and you or is it talking about Jesus?
