KHCB – Q & A – July 17, 2020

The transcript contains the Questions received – parenthesis indicate where in the broadcast the question is asked :

Questions:

– (03:50) – Numbers 9:14 permits foreigners or guests to celebrate Passover but requires they be circumcised. Is there any provision of this kind regarding foreigners or guests with regard to observing the Lord’s Supper.  The verses for circumcision with regard to guests and the Passover  is Exodus 12:48-49.

– (08:57) – I have been in the ministry for about 30 years.  Every time I turn on the radio, I’m always hearing preachers talking about prophecy, prophecy, prophecy. Which there is nothing wrong with that, but you and I know as Christians, you can go to the Book of John, the 3 letters of John and also go to the Book of Revelation and find out all you need to know about prophecy.  Also Isiah has a lot of prophecy.  Why are all these guys constantly doing this, are they just trying to sell books?

– (13:25) – In 2 Thess 2, I have always thought that it referred to the apostasy, the falling away of the faith.  My question is regarding where in Acts 21:21 Paul refers to an apostasy from Moses.  And then secondly, in the first part of 2 Thess, he refers to the rapture as the gathering together unto Him and on verse 3, he would refer to there being a falling away first.  Caller asks for some input on these subjects.

– (25:50) – From Matt 20, the parable of the vineyard workers, in reading that, I understand that all the workers were paid the same.  Is this in any way in correlation with 2 Corr that says that we all must appear before the judgement seat of Christ  that we may receive what is due us.  Does the parable of the vineyard workers have anything to do with the judgement seat of Christ?

– (32:15) – Revelation 22:2 – will there be any sickness in Heaven?

– (35:05) – Can you comment on Psalm 95 where it deals with being stubborn?

– (40:20) – Isaiah 1:13 – does the reference to incense there applies to churches today. If God is saying that God does not like incense.

– (42:35) – Salvation and eternal life – are they synonymous?  It seems like I am hearing that once you have Salvation, you automatically have eternal life which is a promise.  Caller is asking for clarification.

– (46:35) – A caller stated that they became a Christian when they were in jail and has since fallen away and feels like they have lost their peace and maybe like they are worried that they have lost Jesus and that Jesus won’t take them back.  Please comment on that.

– (50:45) – I had a question about Jesus fasting for 40 days and 40 nights.  Why did Jesus have to fast?

– (56:40) – I am an audio learner.  Is it OK to listen to the Bible on audio?  Also I saw that Satan comes into God’s presence and also he went in Jesus’ presence but he was not able to come into Job’s presence until God gave him permission to take something from Job.  I want to find out how to seek that presence so that we are protected like Job was protected.

– (58:45) – Will there be weeping at the judgement seat of Christ?
