Questions

– (04:30) – In reference to 2 Chron 7: 14 “if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”  Is this verse for Israel alone or may the USA claim it for today?

– (12:10) – Matt 26:41 – Watch and pray that you do not come into temptation – does that mean that we can avoid being tested altogether?  Like being so spiritual that we can avoid it?  I know Jesus was speaking to His disciples, so in contrast, is that something that was specific to them?  Also, when Jesus was tempted, was He enticed by His own lust (being fully God and fully Man)……so in His human-ness, was He tempted by that  (as James 1:14 kind of lines out for us) ?

– (19:29) – In Acts 8, when Paul was Saul and in chapter 9, he has his conversion – but I am forced to wonder about people who sincerely and wholeheartedly find themselves unable to find that road to Damascus.  Does Proverbs 14:12 describe them (12 There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death and destruction)?

– (23:13) – Why has the church allowed the World into the church, meaning the government that is part of the World here in the USA.  I’m not questioning whether we obey the laws of the land, which I was reminded tonight there might be coming, that if you say anything about homosexuals, that you can be fined or thrown in prison.  Why has the church become so divided over the laws that we have allowed to control us?

– (35:52) – My son and I debate on two things – he went to Bible college – but a lot of our teaching now is that Tithing is under the law, but we are no longer under the law.  He says we give an offering.  So, I am back to Malaci 3: (10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.).  I want that blessing, so is that for the Israelites only or is that cancelled out since we are not under the law?

– (42:30) – When Jesus said “I only come for the lost sheep of the house Israel” in Revelation where is says “whose names were not written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the World”.  Why would Jesus die for these people if their names were not written in the Book of Life anyway?  Why would Jesus die for people who were already going to Hell?

– (48:37) – Please provide insight and guidance to my question – do Christian preachers have to be “born again”?  And if so, how will a person know that when most of the “About Us” on the website talks about where they graduated or where they went to Seminary.  But they never talk about their testimony of how God saved them.  It’s hard to find a church where you want to know that the Pastor has been born again.

– (52:10) – In Galatians 3: 28 “There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”   If we are all children of God, then is the Church and the Children of God one and the same?

– (58:40) – Who is the “Bride of Christ” – the Church or Israel?
