Questions

1 – (04:25) – John 3:16 – what does “begotten” mean – and what other types of sons are there and why did John use that description?

2 – (07:20) – How did the people living in Old Testament times date their calendar?  We know that they didn’t use BC dates the way that we do today.  What year would Daniel use as the date of his captivity?

3 – (12:15) – Acts 10 – Cornelius – was praying – his prayers and gifts for the poor and needy – came before the Lord and an angel appeared before him and told him to send for Simon Peter – what kind of prayer would Cornelius be doing and what kinds of gifts would be for the needy?  Do gifts have to be for the needy?   Also, Jesus’ prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane – were they silent meditation or verbally petitioning the Lord?

4 – (19:35)  – Matt 23:23 and Luke 11:42- Reference to Tithing – I have hear it said that Jesus confirmed the tithe.  Did He actually confirm to tithe?

5 – (24:55)  – What is the Biblical view on Capital Punishment or even when defending yourself….would this be considered murder?

6 – (28:50) – Having difficulty remembering Bible verses and what could you tell them that might enable them to have some aid there?

7 – (37:50) – Isiah 14:12 – Lucifer proclaims that he will sit on the mount of the congregation in the sides of the North.  My question is what is the congregation and where is the side….where is the North?  What country is this North?

8 – (43:40) – Hebrews 10:29 – Insulting the Spirit of Grace – How were the Hebrew believers insulting the Spirit of Grace in the 1st Century and is there a comparable insulting of the Spirit of Grace in the 21st Century?  Are we in jeopardy of insulting the Spirit of Grace?

9 – (48:48) – Matt 27 – Barabbas – Called had read another translation where it mentions Barabbas was also named Jesus – is that accurate?

10 – (51:20) – What does the Bible say about women’s role in the Church?  Should a woman be called a Pastor?

11 – (55:40) – Do ghosts exist?  Do we have contact with them?  Those who are deceased, are there manifestations with them?  Does the Bible speak anything to that issue?

12 – (57:57) – Can I be a Christian, if for many decades, I have believed and as a result of my beliefs studied, taught and testified yet never heard God speak.  Is there something in Scripture which addresses people like me who claim to be Christians who have not experienced God?

13 – (58:25) – Rev 17:8 – Book of Life – When were those names written in the Book of Life?
