Questions

– (03:20) – What are the different functions of the 5-fold ministry?

– (07:25) – I have two questions.  My first question is – God is omnipotent – and all-knowing God.  So why would He make people knowing they was going to fail?   Knowing that they was going to sin?   Because in our world today, you know we have a war going on now.  And that people are sinners.  I just kind of wondered why – if he knew that.   And my other question is – in the Book of Revelation, the United States is not mentioned and I wanted to know why?

– (12:34) – Where does leprosy come from?  Is it a STD or is it something that God punishes people with?

– (16:11) – My first question is – can you explain the difference between what’s termed Lordship Salvation vs Faith Alone in Christ?   I definitely have a passion of sharing the Gospel with “outsiders” (that is, non-believers).  But I found that a lot of my evangelism has come within the church and I have been running against a strong current of the Lordship Salvation. And I don’t believe, I don’t think scripture teaches that it is the simplicity of the Gospel.  So, that’s one part of it.  And then the other part of it is – a lot of the proof  text or terminology that used to support Lordship Salvation would be that you have to repent – that is, to turn away from your sins or to feel sorry for your sins.  You know, recommit your life or make a 360, but when I study the word repentance, it simply means just a change of mind.  That is, what you’re formally trusting in – you’re changing your mind and putting your trust in Christ.   I just had a real struggle with that concerning spiritual battle with possibly genuine Believers or Non-believers who are propagating this.  So, could you help me with that?

– (25:00) – I was listening to a kind of well-known expert on the Middle East and prophecy – which I just always refer everybody to Dr. Andy Woods and Dr. Jim.  But here’s the thing, he was talking about something that I never heard before in Jeremiah 49:35-39.  A prophecy about Elam which said it was Iran, near the borders of Iraq, and that the Israelites were going to come against them in the latter days and do something to scatter them.  Which would be about our time and it would be near the area of Bashir power plant or nuclear plant or something like that.  And I just never heard anything about Jeremiah 49 before.  And then he (unintelligble) them to Psalm 83 which I know that that you have spoken on before and I knew this was a question for Dr. Andy Woods.

– (37:57) – My question is coming from John 17:14.   And Jesus (it’s Jesus prayer – this is a supercharged Lord’s Prayer, John 17 is).  It’s the last chapter of the supercharged prayer – but in this prayer, he is praying to the Father and he says “I have given them your word and the world has hated them”.  My question is, if we maintain the Word and if we are filled with the Word as it says in Colossians, “Be filled with the Word”.  And if we want to be depositories of the Word of God, should we expect better treatment from the world today than the world hating us?  That’s my question thank you.

– (40:52) – I have a question.   I just started reading the Bible and I’m trying to understand the seven days that God created the world and each day is a thousand days to God.  And is it because each thousand years, if you align it with the first day, isn’t that going to happen in the future?  For example, on the second day, he separated the water from the land.  And then, on two thousand years during Noah’s time, there was a flood that He judged the world.  And then on the 7th Day Sabbath, the rest day, which if I look to the 6000 years we are approaching, Christ will be coming and rule for a thousand years on the 7th day after judgement day (unintelligible).  Isn’t it something like that?

– (44:45) – I’m actually an early Bible reader. I just got started, but my question is for Ephesians 6:5-8 and says Paul states that “slaves be obedient to your human masters with fear and trembling and sincerity of heart as to Christ”.  How can we translate that into modern terms?

– (47:43) – This question is regarding “till death do us part” and Joseph’s thought to put Mary away privately. This person writes “marriage today seems to be so different from what was acceptable in Jesus’s time.  Does the bible provide scriptural guidance for the marriage ceremony and traditions”?

– (51:02) – The last question that I want to ask is – you know like when Bible said God hates divorce and He gave some condition that when people should get divorced.  But nowadays, people are just getting divorced for emotional support, or emotional thing, or mine is not going well.   Is those people that doing that outside of (what) God says the rule of divorce is?  When  they are granted divorce and then married again, is the marriage honorable ?  Or are they committing adultery

– (54:14) – I am a believer in Christ.  I believe the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus according to the scripture.  I’ve been invited to go to the casino with some of my Christian friends.  And then they asked the question, where is it found in the Bible that gambling is a sinful Act?

– (57:24) – I was reading in Daniel, Corinthians and several places in Revelations.  It speaks about the 3 heavens and the different aspects of them.  And what I’m wondering is, how should this affect my walk in Christ how would this apply to me today?
