Share-A-Meal

Hello! My name is Lisa Camplen and I am the coordinator for the Sugar Land Bible Church Share-a-Meal Ministry. Share-a-Meal is a ministry that provides meals for people in our church body during circumstances where help with food would be needed due to major illness/surgery, childbirth, loss, or any other major disruption to everyday life.

Share-a-Meal is always accepting new volunteers as we strive to meet the needs of our growing church family. Meal volunteers are able to sign up to provide a meal and arrange a delivery time that best suits the recipient and volunteer.

Meals can be homemade, takeout from a restaurant, or in some instances we may provide a gift card. The nature of the meals and the duration of the provision will depend on the individual circumstances, as will delivery options.

It is a very gratifying way to show love and care for our church body in the manner in which Christ directs us (Matt 25:35-40; Rom 12:6-8, 10-13: Heb 13:16: 1 Peter 4:8-10).
