Pastor Andy teaches that worship is highlighting the worth-ship of the Lord. Worship comes as a response to truth. We learn from His Word, something of His Person, His plan, His Work, and His love for us, which should lead us to respond with praise and adoration. The Psalmist sums up worship in Psalm 69:30 - “I will praise the name of God with a song and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.”

The goal of the music of SLBC is to praise the Lord with songs and hymns to help us focus on the worthiness of our Lord in response to the teaching of truth from His Word. Your participation is greatly appreciated and is a wonderful “sacrifice of praise” to the Lord, as described in Hebrews 13:15.
