Could it be maybe - that the sin nature has been extracted from the people or has it just been compressed during that thousand years?\u00a0 And Satan has been able to lead the second Rebellion?\r\n\r\n3 \u2013 (13:55) \u2013 We all heard that Abraham had Ishmael and Isaac.\u00a0 How many sons, given by name in the Bible, did Abraham have and the 2nd<\/sup> part of that (question) is \u2013 where does it show up for the first time that once a gift is given, it is without repentance and the individual gets to keep that gift?\r\n\r\n4 \u2013 (17:22) \u2013 My question is \u2013 I had a lengthy discussion with my Brother last week about two parts of the Bible - I don't remember exactly what Bible verse it is. \u00a0But you probably will remember where it says in one passage that the Lord stimulated David's counting of the people and then on the other passage I think it said Satan did.\u00a0 I did not have enough argument to defend myself on this one but I really would like for you to shed light on that so I can share that with my brother.\r\n\r\n5 \u2013 (22:09) \u2013 \u00a0I have a teenager - he's about 16, soon to be 17 years old. And life has been a little bit difficult for him.\u00a0 He had an ACL operation - as a soccer player he acquired that injury. And recently he had another knee accident playing soccer at school again.\u00a0 And he says to me \u201cWhy does God allow this?\u00a0 Why do I have to go through this?\u00a0 Why doesn't God protect me?\u201d.\u00a0\u00a0 And I was explaining to him that becoming a Christian is not dependent on circumstances, feelings, events in life.\u00a0 You are a Christian by faith and what the Lord Jesus has done for you. And as a matter fact it\u2019s a harder life!\u00a0 It is much more commitment when you are Christian. It\u2019s a narrower path.\u00a0 What would you say to a teenager who's going through a difficult phase?\u00a0 Their hormones are changing, they\u2019re discovering things and life, they\u2019re becoming adults and in their minds they did try to fit in at school, but they can't because of their Christian views and values. How can we explain that the Christian life is a commitment but it's also a sacrifice and it's nothing compared to what we will be in heaven?\r\n\r\n6 \u2013 (27:50) \u2013 We see that Mary and Martha are sisters to Lazarus. \u00a0That\u2019s clear in Scripture. Is Mary Magdalene that same Mary?\u00a0 And if not, then I need scripture to go to defend who Mary Magdalene might be.\r\n\r\n7 \u2013 (34:12) \u2013 My question is out of the book of Joel 3:6 it says \u201cThe children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have ye sold unto the Grecians, that ye might remove them far from their border.<\/strong>\u201d So when I get to Acts 9:29, he says \u201cAnd he spake boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0 Are these Grecians the Northern Kingdom that has come out of the captivity of Greece?\u00a0 Are these Israelites Northern Kingdom Grecians that Paul is disputing with?\r\n\r\n8 \u2013 (37:41) \u2013 I'm coming with something I have been confused about for a few years.\u00a0 I hear it\u2019s happening more and more and people are saying this more and more.\u00a0 I\u2019m talking about the diversities \u2013 they\u2019re talking about in Ephesians 4 - about the five-fold Ministries. \u00a0I'm hearing everybody hollering about they are Apostles.\u00a0 \u00a0My question is: Are there any modern-day Apostles?\u00a0 Because I heard y'all answer a question about the Apostles that were with Jesus and also Paul.\u00a0 \u00a0What positions can the women hold according to those five-fold Ministries?\r\n\r\n9 \u2013 (43:53) \u2013 I am calling you about \u2013 it has to do with my husband who is Jewish.\u00a0 And I don't know whether he believes in Christ or not.\u00a0 And so it's a great burden and distress to me that he doesn't.\u00a0 And so I have been reading and was reading in Galatians about Abraham and how Abraham heard and it was credited to him, he believed it and it was credited to him as righteousness.\u00a0 And there's also faith comes by hearing.\u00a0 And I was just looking and then there's another Hebrews verse having to do with hearing and faith coming by hearing.\u00a0 And several questions here - Abraham was a pagan before he heard God, believed in Him and obeyed His call.\u00a0 That\u2019s one question.\u00a0 And the second thing is this doctrine that faith comes by hearing.\u00a0 I\u2019m having a hard time with my responsibility to bring my husband to Christ, so does that mean I must bring him to church so that he can hear?\u00a0 \u00a0Because, I mean that's not what happened with Abraham obviously.\u00a0 Abraham heard directly from God. \u00a0\u00a0But I mean that's there.\u00a0 And then the other thing is, if that if he does not believe, having to do with the doctrine of election, is that just means that he was not predestined to the become a Believer and be saved?\u00a0 Anyway, those are my questions.\r\n\r\n10 \u2013 (50:35) \u2013 I was wondering if Dr. Woods can answer my question about the King James Version Bible uses the word Easter in the book of Acts.\u00a0 And then when they came out with the New King James version, they turned it back into Passover, so I was going to see if Dr. Woods had any kind of knowledge on that.\u00a0 \u00a0I thought that somebody gave me the explanation that it was because of Anti-Semitism.\u00a0\u00a0 I don't know when the translators did that.\u00a0 So we'll use Resurrection Sunday or either the Resurrection Day because our pastor that retired, he did not ever use the word Easter.\u00a0 And I was just going to also ask is there any proof that the Easter is actually related to Pagan Worship in the older days?\r\n\r\n11 \u2013 (54:34) \u2013 Yes, where in the prophetic timeline is Isaiah 17:1 regarding Damascus and Jeremiah 49:35-39 regarding Elam?\u00a0 And I want to thank you guys - I'm studying along with you and the Middle East meltdown Zechariah and Genesis part of your online church.\u00a0 Thank you very much.","series_sermon_number":""},"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t
