Can you please confirm to me on this verse?\r\n\r\n9 \u2013 (39:10) \u2013 The Bible says in I Corinthians 6:20 \u2013 \u201c<\/sup><\/strong>you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.\u201d <\/strong>So what does he mean by \u201chonor\u201d?\u00a0 How important is the physical body? \u00a0Is this what He judges us for? \u00a0Is that why we take care of it and love it and respect it and keep it clean and don\u2019t defile it?\u00a0 What did he mean by that?\r\n\r\n10 \u2013 (42:00) \u2013 My question is from the whole book of Colossians.\u00a0 It starts out Colossians 1 through 3 and climaxes with a lot of pie-in-the-sky stuff.\u00a0 And chapter 3 it says \u201c<\/strong>Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.<\/strong> 2\u00a0<\/sup>Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.<\/strong>\u201d <\/strong>But we Christians are always talking about how we need to behave and how we need to act and how we need to do this and that.\u00a0 And Colossians covers that starting in chapter 3:17.\u00a0 It talks about the wives, the husbands, the children, the servants, the masters \u2013 it delineates specifically the practical things that us Christians need to do every day.\u00a0 Why can\u2019t we skip all the pie-in-the-sky and just study 3:17 to the end of Colossians?\r\n\r\n11 \u2013 (45:07) \u2013 My question is out of Psalms 83:1 \u201c<\/strong>Do not keep silent, O God! Do not hold Your peace, And do not be still, O God! 2\u00a0<\/sup>For behold, Your enemies make a tumult; And those who hate You have lifted up their head.<\/strong>\u201d\u00a0 <\/strong>So in verse 2, it says his enemies.\u00a0 So I am trying to find out who are his enemies.\u00a0 And it starts naming them in verse 6, 7, 8 and 9.\u00a0 I\u2019m thinking the pastors, the shepherds, and the people of God should know God\u2019s enemies.\u00a0 So, are you familiar with this scripture?\u00a0 Who are these people today?\r\n\r\n12 \u2013 (48:30) \u2013 This email deals with Hebrews 11 \u2013 and it\u2019s talking about receiving promises and not receiving promises.\u00a0 Because in Hebrews 11:13 there\u2019s a section that says these died in faith not having received the promises and in verse 17, it says Abraham received some of the promises.\u00a0 The e-mailer is trying to figure out what\u2019s going on with the promises and if Abraham received some of the promises, but not other promises, and if so, are there certain eternal rewards to be had by hoping in a promise from God and ultimately not receiving that promise?\r\n\r\n13 \u2013 (51:40) \u2013 I have found what appears to be conflicting interpretations on Hell.\u00a0 I was raised to believe that Hell was a place of eternal punishment for unbelievers.\u00a0 However, some verses appear to lend credence to annihilation-ism and speak of the unsaved as perishing or being destroyed. \u00a0Which is correct?\r\n\r\n ","series_sermon_number":""},"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t
