And she takes Ethnics class.\u00a0 Whenever she has a question about life or when we discuss abortion or the homosexual lifestyle, she thinks more in line with ethnics studies.\u00a0 I try to direct her to the Bible, but she doesn\u2019t think the Bible has answers to all of life\u2019s questions. So what scriptures, or how do I handle that because I want her to believe more in the Bible?\r\n\r\n3 \u2013 (16:35) \u2013 I need some clarification on something please. I was a part of a prayer group recently.\u00a0 There was a young lady who requested prayer because she wanted to meet her guardian angel.\u00a0 I found that very disturbing. Can you elaborate on angels and guardian angels?\r\n\r\n4 \u2013 (22:56) \u2013 Dr. Woods, I am studying Genesis with you and have put a lot of thought into Chapter 1:1-2.\u00a0 I am not sure that I can reconcile the difference between 1 and 2 if something happened between there.\u00a0 One day, I was reading in John 3 where Jesus was explaining to Nicodemus that \u201cyou must be born again by the water and the spirit to enter the Kingdom of God\u201d.\u00a0 Then, I was thinking back to Genesis 1:2 and right there was the Spirit of God hovering over the waters.\u00a0 Is there any spiritual connection that you can explain for the Spirit in the water and what Jesus said to Nicodemus?\r\n\r\n5 \u2013 (26:20) \u2013 Genesis 6:1 and Matt 18 reminds us that we all sin and fall short of the Glory of God.\u00a0 Therefore, if a brother sins against us, we should lovingly bring it to his attention. How often do we give him another opportunity to disappoint us again?\r\n\r\n6 \u2013 (32:20) \u2013 Genesis 3:23 says God prevented Adam from eating from the Tree of Life after the fall lest he live forever in sin.\u00a0 Some \u201cold earthers\u201d use that as a way around Adam not being created as immortal.\u00a0 Please comment on that.\r\n\r\n7 \u2013 (36:20) \u2013 I am going thru some things in my marriage.\u00a0 I came across Proverbs 18:22 \u201cHe who<\/em> finds a wife finds a good thing,<\/em>\u201d and also Mark 10:9 \u201cTherefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.\u201d \u00a0So I hear a lot of people say that God puts marriages together and this scripture says that \u201cHe who finds a wife\u2026\u201d.\u00a0 So, is it that God is putting us together or is it that we are finding them and that\u2019s why there\u2019s divorce and marital problems and things like that?\r\n\r\n8 \u2013 (42:55) \u2013 I had a question from Ezekiel 40:38-43, it speaks of the new Temple.\u00a0 It describes the room where the sacrifices are offered.\u00a0 Is this referring to a future time after Christ returns?\u00a0 Or was this prior to the coming of Christ?\u00a0 The reason that I\u2019m asking the question is, I understood there would be no more sacrifices after Christ returned.\r\n\r\n9 \u2013 (48:38) \u2013 I\u2019m calling about Hebrews 7:28 \u201cFor the law makes men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.\u201d\u00a0 Question is, the word of oath which was since the law, when was that oath made after the law was given by Moses?\r\n\r\n10 \u2013 (51:30) \u2013 \u201cMy question is, Jesus died on the Jew\u2019s Preparation Day which was Wednesday at the 9th<\/sup> hour.\u00a0 They only had 3 hours to get Him off the cross and into the heart of the Earth. And that would have been 6pm which, according to the beginning of the Bible, it said the Night comes before the Day. So, that would have been a Thursday at 6PM.\u00a0 And then, the next day at 6am, that makes a day at 6pm that evening on Thursday meaning we have a night and a day on Thursday. But at the beginning of Thursday, that was Friday night\u2026..\u201d \u00a0For the sake of time, Bruce interjects here and asked \u201cAre you asking how 3 days and 3 nights factor in here?\u201d.\r\n\r\n11 \u2013 (55:48) \u2013 In the book of Genesis 4:13-14 \u201c13\u00a0<\/sup>And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear.\u00a0 14\u00a0<\/sup>Behold, thou hast driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that every one that findeth me shall slay me.\u201d\u00a0 Who is out there to slay him if there are only 3 people (Adam, Eve and Cain)?\u00a0 And then in Genesis 4:17 \u201cAnd Cain knew his wife\u201d.\u00a0 Where did the wife come from if there was only 3 people around?\r\n\r\n ","series_sermon_number":""},"aioseo_notices":[],"aioseo_head":"\n\t\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t\n\t\t
