Sunday School is held from 9:45am – 10:45am. Students should be on time and prepared to learn. Parents are to pick their children up promptly and in person.
Expectations from Parents
We encourage all parents to be punctual in picking up their children, in person.
We encourage all parents to go over the lessons with their children and to continue to be the primary Christian educators God has called them to be.
Parents are expected to be on the church grounds while their children are in Sunday School and Junior Church.
Christ Centered – Every lesson shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ as our promise of salvation and the power of living.
Bible Based – Students not only learn historical Bible accounts but are introduced to key doctrinal themes for a firm faith foundation.
Life Directed – Hands on lessons and activities prepare students as they mature in character and in life, helping them put their faith into practice in all situations.
Family Connected – Take home materials encourage faith-building that involves the whole family.
Curriculum used for the Pre-Primary groups is from RPB (Regular Baptist Press). This curriculum reinforces foundational biblical truths concerning creation, Jesus, salvation, and living for God. It also provides children an understanding of their need for personal salvation and provides opportunities for students to trust in Christ as their Savior and then begin to live for Him. It engages children by using Bible story time, Bible memory time, music time, craft time and also incorporates a time for Bible application, i.e., helping, serving, prayer and memorizing scripture.
Pre-Primary children will learn about Bible people who were kind, were helpful, and sought God in prayer. Students will have opportunities to practice kindness and helpfulness and will be encouraged to talk to God in prayer.

Fall Quarter 2017 | Curriculum: RBP (Religious Baptist Press) Theme: Learning About God
BibleTruths: Our Awesome God (God’s Absolute Attributes); Our Personal God (God’s Relational Attributes); Our Trustworthy God (God’s Characteristics)
Primary students will learn the absolute attributes of God; discover God’s relationship with man; and realize that God is good, loving, unchanging, merciful, faithful, patient, true, and just. Students will understand that God is the only One Who can offer atonement for sin. They will demonstrate an understanding of Who God is.
One of the most important parts of Sunday School and Junior Church is the teaching and the memorization of God’s Word, and encouraging children to gain an understanding of how God’s Word may be applied to their daily lives. Why scripture memorization? The goal of memorizing scripture is to permanently fix God’s word in their hearts (Psalm 119:11).Parents are encouraged to help their children with Scripture memory throughout the week.
